I, this is about 2 years in the making, relaunching this show, this podcast.

So, Here's the thing, what is the stern truth, right?

The stern truth is this.

I've been in business for over 35 years, and I've seen a lot, some things have worked for me, I've run multiple businesses, some things have not worked for me.

Each week I'm going to come to you, that is my commitment.

I'm going to deliver you to you the stern truth, no sugar coating, no fluff.

There's too much fluff out there.

I'm just gonna give you the stern truth, the straight goods, straight talking of what has worked for me, for my coaching clients over the last 13 years, and some things that haven't.

We're gonna talk about all things from leadership and mindset to hiring to firing.

To understand your financials and how confusing that can be.

To managing people, to growing our business, to lead generation, sales, marketing, social media, all of this, all the stuff that can be overwhelming, balancing our life, what I call the struggle of the juggle, balancing maybe raising kids, while trying to grow our business.

We're gonna talk about all of that.

Some weeks he'll have just the two of us, you and me, in a conversation.

I'll speak with you.

I do want to hear on what I need, but I, I do want to hear back from you.

I'd love to hear from you.

Some weeks it'll be current clients, past coaching clients of mine, some of them will be our momentum accountability members, and again some of them will be business owners that I would like to meet that I don't yet know, or maybe don't know that well that I want to hear their story.

So you'll hear my story over time, you'll hear their story over time as well, different stories, different industries.

And what their string truths are, what's worked for them, what hasn't.

One thing I do know is, well, before we get to that, So, from time to time, you might hear my dog bark.

OK, my phone's on all my notifications are off.

You might hear my dog bark.

My dog might come in here and try to jump up on my lap, and that's OK.

I'm not editing that out.

This is unfiltered, because you know what?

Businesses, not just businesses, business.

During that, life is also unfiltered.

Life happens.

Business isn't perfect, life isn't perfect.

It happens.

This is real.

This is a real show about real life, about business, how our life affects our business, how our business affects our life, how our mindset affects our business, which affects our life and vice versa.

It's all of it.

My goal is to join partnerships with you.

I want you to come along for the journey.

I want, if if I've done my job, if I could help inspire you and encourage you.

And there you go.

There's an alarm going on next door, but that's OK.

It's like it was on cue, but that's OK.

Because that's life.

We have alarm bells go off all the time.

Are we listening to them?

I was listening to that one.

Running, growing, starting a business is easy, and no one can start a business

The truth is, or the stern truth is growing, running and growing a business can be really difficult.

However, it can also be really amazing when you surround yourself with a strong inner circle, when you surround yourself with advisors, mentors, coaches, other entrepreneurs, business owners who get it and have been there, it could be truly amazing.

When you surround yourself with your team, a strong team, we're gonna talk a lot about that.

Not doing it all ourselves, not acting as an employee in our own business.

Well, we're going to talk a lot about that.

But I want to also hear from you, as you get to know us, myself, and our guests, I also want to get to know you.

So tell me what you want, where you're at in your business, in your business journey, your entrepreneurial journey.

What are some of your challenges, whether there are some of your struggles?

What would you like the topics to talk to be featured here in the stern truth?

That's what I want to hear.

I want to hear about you, cause you can see me, or you can hear me, I wanna hear you.

We'll talk about the whole lead generation, sales, marketing, leadership, mindset, all this, we're going to talk about human resources, because I've been there 35 years plus.

I've bought businesses, I've sold businesses, I've merged with other businesses, I've had a business partner, I have bought out a business partner, I've had, I've hired employees, I've fired employees, I've had employees quit on me over text.

I Been to the top.

I was even featured in an entrepreneur magazine issue several years ago, and I've been close to the bottom.

Where I was almost ready to lock up the doors and walk away.

So I get it.

It's not easy, but there are certain tools and strategies and techniques that I've used, and that some of our guests are gonna share as well, but I really hope will help you build your business and get through or get along this path, this entrepreneurial journey, because it is truly amazing, really, it truly is.

It's one of the greatest.

I believe things we can do or career choices that we can do, as long as we are intentional about it and we do surround ourselves with people that help guide us.

So, I'll be here next week.

I hope you will as well.

I want you to get really clear on over the time that we have together, each and every week.

Think about why you do what you do, what you want your business and your life to look like, and we're gonna work towards that.

I want you to try it on, OK?

You're gonna hear different tools strategies.

Some of them I give to my coaching clients.

What I'd like you to do, I encourage you to do, whether you're here from me or some of our guests that we have in future episodes, is to try it on.

It's like going to a store and buying an outfit.

Before you buy the outfit most of the times, you'll try it on to see if it fits.

When you hear something here, try it on, see if it fits for you.

There's too many experts out there, right?

We're not going to try to be one of those.

We're telling you the straight goods, there's no expert here with fluff.

There's no fluff here.

This is straight talking.

Simple strategies that have worked, period.

Not showing you my bank balance of how I've made millions of dollars, and I'm on a boat and I have this, and I'm on a beach working remotely with my laptop, I mean, really.

I would, for me, san would get keyboards and I would hate that.

So, this is just a certain truth, that's what you're gonna hear.

Some of it you might like and some of it you might not, but I hope it encourages you and inspires you to take action, because in the end, that is the biggest difference between those who actually achieve what they want to achieve, or move along the path of achieving what they want to achieve, and those who are stuck and don't.

It's consistent intentional action.

Action.

Most people can buy a course.

Sign up for a webinar, learn, learn, learn, and they don't take action.

In fact, I think it's like 90 95% of online work, evergreen courses are never completed.

I mean, how many courses and books and podcasts and shows have you watched?

I don't want this to be one of them.

I want you to take it and try it on and take action on what resonates with you.

Not everything will, that's totally fine.

Everyone is at different stages and at different points in their entrepreneurial journey.

So, it's my my commitment to you is to show up, to partner with you at our partnership.

I'm going to deliver to you.

I ask that you give me feedback as well as as on how I'm doing, how the show is doing, what else you want to see from the show?
